Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 June 2026
These Terms of Service apply to your access to and use of GolfMint, including the GolfMint website, mobile app, membership, rewards platform, competitions, GM Points, rewards store, offers, promotions and any related services we provide.
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, using the GolfMint app or website, entering a GolfMint competition, redeeming GM Points or otherwise using GolfMint, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use GolfMint.
These Terms are intended to explain how GolfMint works in clear language. They do not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot legally be excluded.
1. About GolfMint
GolfMint is an Australian golf rewards platform.
GolfMint allows eligible members to use the official golf rounds they already play to participate in GolfMint competitions, earn GM Points, compete on leaderboards, redeem eligible rewards and receive recognition for verified golf performance and handicap improvement.
GolfMint is designed for real Australian golfers with an official Golf Australia handicap.
GolfMint is not:
- a golf club;
- a handicap provider;
- a replacement for Golf Australia, GolfLink, Golf ID, Future Golf, a state golf association, or any golf club;
- an official Golf Australia product;
- a betting, wagering, gambling or sportsbook service;
- a financial product or investment product.
GolfMint does not issue official handicaps. Official handicap information is determined by Golf Australia, GolfLink, Golf ID, affiliated clubs and relevant golf administration systems. GolfMint uses member-provided and/or verified golf information to operate its own rewards, competitions and platform features.
References to Golf Australia, GolfLink, Golf ID, clubs, retailers or other third parties are for identification and verification purposes only. Unless expressly stated, GolfMint is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially partnered with those organisations.
2. Who can use GolfMint
To use GolfMint as a paid member and be eligible for rewards, leaderboards, competitions or giveaways, you must:
- be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian;
- be located in Australia, unless GolfMint agrees otherwise;
- hold a valid official Australian golf handicap through a Golf ID, GolfLink number or equivalent official Golf Australia handicap record;
- provide accurate account, contact, payment and golf information;
- meet GolfMint's minimum eligible-round requirements;
- comply with these Terms and any competition, reward or promotion rules that apply.
GolfMint may refuse, suspend or cancel an account if we reasonably believe that:
- the information provided is false, incomplete, misleading or outdated;
- the member is not eligible;
- the member is attempting to manipulate results, rewards, handicap data or competitions;
- the member is abusing the platform, other members, GolfMint staff or third-party systems;
- the account creates legal, operational, fraud, security or payment risk for GolfMint.
3. Your account
You must create an account to use GolfMint.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login details secure;
- making sure your email address is correct and accessible;
- keeping your payment details up to date;
- ensuring your Golf ID, GolfLink number, handicap information and member details are accurate;
- notifying GolfMint if your details change;
- all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not:
- create fake accounts;
- create duplicate accounts to gain extra rewards, points, entries or advantages;
- use another person's Golf ID, GolfLink number, handicap or score history;
- transfer, sell or share your account;
- attempt to access another member's account;
- interfere with the website, app, database, payment systems or verification systems.
GolfMint may require identity, account, handicap, score or eligibility verification before awarding rewards, allowing redemptions, paying prizes or allowing continued access.
4. Membership plans
GolfMint may offer different membership options, including:
- monthly membership;
- annual membership;
- Founders membership;
- trial, launch or promotional offers;
- other plans introduced from time to time.
The features, pricing and inclusions for each plan are shown at the time of sign-up.
GolfMint membership may include, depending on your plan and eligibility:
- access to weekly GolfMint competitions;
- access to monthly GolfMint competitions;
- access to handicap improvement rewards;
- access to GM Points;
- access to the rewards store;
- access to selected member giveaways or promotions;
- access to the GolfMint app and member platform;
- Founders Pack inclusions, if you purchase a Founders membership;
- other benefits GolfMint may add, change or remove from time to time.
Membership does not guarantee that you will win a competition, earn a particular number of GM Points, receive a particular reward, lower your handicap, or receive any prize.
5. Payments and billing
GolfMint uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process payments.
By purchasing a membership, you authorise GolfMint and its payment processor to charge the applicable fees for your selected plan.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Prices may include GST where applicable.
Monthly memberships are billed monthly unless cancelled. Annual and Founders memberships are billed annually and renew each year unless cancelled, or unless stated otherwise at checkout.
If a payment fails, GolfMint may:
- retry the payment;
- ask you to update your payment method;
- suspend your access;
- pause your reward eligibility;
- cancel your membership.
GolfMint is not responsible for fees charged by your bank, card issuer or payment provider, including failed payment fees, foreign exchange fees, overdraft fees or chargeback fees.
6. Trials, launch offers and discounts
GolfMint may offer promotional pricing, including first-month offers, discount codes, referral codes or limited-time launch offers.
Unless stated otherwise:
- promotional pricing applies only for the period clearly advertised;
- after the promotional period ends, the membership renews at the standard price shown at checkout;
- promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
- promotions may be changed, paused or withdrawn for future customers;
- promotions may be limited to new members only;
- referral codes are used for GolfMint attribution and referral rewards, not as payment discount codes unless expressly stated.
If GolfMint offers "$1 for your first month" or similar promotional pricing, the member will be charged the promotional amount for the first eligible billing period and then the standard monthly membership price thereafter unless the member cancels before the next billing date.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your monthly membership at any time.
If you cancel a monthly membership, your access will generally continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
Cancelling a membership does not automatically refund payments already made.
You are responsible for cancelling before your next billing date if you do not want to be charged for the next period.
Annual memberships and Founders memberships may have different cancellation terms shown at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, annual and Founders membership payments are not automatically refundable simply because you change your mind, stop playing golf, do not use the platform, or no longer wish to participate.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Refunds
GolfMint will comply with its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a remedy if GolfMint fails to provide services with due care and skill, fails to provide services within a reasonable time where no time is agreed, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee that applies.
Where required by law, remedies may include resupply of services, repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedies depending on the circumstances.
GolfMint is not required to provide a refund simply because:
- you changed your mind;
- you forgot to cancel before renewal;
- you did not use the app or membership;
- you did not win a competition;
- you did not earn enough GM Points to redeem a reward;
- your handicap did not improve;
- you did not meet eligibility requirements;
- your official handicap, Golf ID or GolfLink status changed;
- your club rounds, scores or handicap data were not available or verified in time;
- you breached these Terms.
Refund requests can be sent to admin@golfmint.com.au.
GolfMint may require account, payment and identity verification before processing a refund.
9. Eligible rounds and golf data
GolfMint competitions and rewards rely on eligible golf rounds and verified golf information.
To be eligible for GolfMint competitions, rewards or leaderboards, a round may need to:
- be linked to your official Golf Australia handicap record;
- be associated with your Golf ID, GolfLink number or official handicap profile;
- be visible or verifiable through accepted golf systems, score records or supporting information;
- be played during the relevant competition period;
- meet GolfMint's format, timing and verification requirements;
- be considered a valid, genuine and eligible round by GolfMint.
GolfMint may require a minimum number of eligible or flagged rounds before you can be ranked, win prizes, redeem certain rewards or qualify for certain competitions.
Unless stated otherwise, members need at least 8 eligible flagged rounds to be competition and prize eligible.
GolfMint may decide whether a round is eligible in its reasonable discretion, based on available information.
GolfMint may reject or exclude rounds that appear incomplete, unverifiable, irregular, manipulated, incorrectly recorded, outside the competition period or inconsistent with these Terms.
10. Competition structure
GolfMint may run weekly, monthly or other competitions.
Competitions may include:
- weekly gross competitions;
- weekly net competitions;
- monthly gross competitions;
- monthly net competitions;
- handicap improvement rewards;
- other competitions or challenges introduced by GolfMint.
Competition structures, point values, prize amounts, ranking rules, verification rules and eligibility requirements may change from time to time.
GolfMint may display current competition details on the website, app or member communications.
Unless stated otherwise:
- weekly competitions are based on eligible rounds played during the relevant weekly period;
- monthly competitions are based on eligible rounds played during the relevant monthly period;
- a member's best eligible round may be used for the relevant period;
- GolfMint may use par-72 standardisation or other scoring adjustments to compare rounds across different courses;
- gross and net competitions may be ranked separately;
- handicap-based rewards require verified official handicap movement;
- competition results remain subject to final verification.
GolfMint may correct leaderboard results, scores, points, prize allocations or rankings if an error, data issue, eligibility issue or verification issue is identified.
11. Verification of results
GolfMint may manually or automatically verify results before awarding points, rewards or prizes.
Verification may include checking:
- member identity;
- Golf ID or GolfLink number;
- official handicap status;
- score records;
- flagged rounds;
- competition dates;
- course information;
- handicap movement;
- suspicious or inconsistent activity;
- eligibility under these Terms.
Leaderboard positions shown in the app may be provisional until verified.
GolfMint may delay, adjust, reverse or cancel points, rewards or prizes if:
- data is unavailable;
- the result cannot be verified;
- the member does not meet eligibility requirements;
- a mistake has occurred;
- a third-party system is delayed or inaccurate;
- GolfMint reasonably suspects manipulation, abuse, fraud or breach of these Terms.
12. Handicap improvement rewards
GolfMint may reward members for verified improvement in their official Golf Australia handicap.
Handicap improvement rewards may be based on a member's official handicap movement during a particular month or other stated period.
Unless stated otherwise:
- handicap improvement must occur within the relevant competition or reward period;
- handicap movement must be verified against official or accepted golf data;
- the member must meet the minimum eligible-round requirement;
- the member must have an active GolfMint membership at the relevant time;
- rewards are subject to verification and availability.
GolfMint may set different reward levels for different handicap movement amounts, such as rewards for a 1.0 or 2.0 handicap reduction within a month. Current reward structures may be shown on the website or app.
GolfMint may change handicap improvement reward structures for future periods.
GolfMint may refuse or reverse handicap improvement rewards where the handicap movement cannot be verified or appears to result from manipulation, error, irregular scoring, incorrect records, duplicate accounts or other abuse.
13. GM Points
GM Points are GolfMint's internal rewards points.
GM Points may be earned through:
- competition performance;
- handicap improvement;
- referral rewards;
- promotional campaigns;
- member bonuses;
- other GolfMint activities.
GM Points are not cash, legal tender, cryptocurrency, stored value, a financial product or a bank deposit.
GM Points:
- have no cash value outside GolfMint;
- cannot be withdrawn as cash;
- cannot be sold, transferred or traded unless GolfMint expressly allows it;
- cannot be used outside the GolfMint platform;
- may be subject to redemption limits, verification and availability;
- may be adjusted, reversed or cancelled if awarded in error or obtained through abuse.
GolfMint may display an indicative value for GM Points to help members understand potential reward value. For example, GolfMint may indicate that 100 GM Points is approximately equal to A$10 in reward value. This is an indicative platform value only and does not mean GM Points are cash or can be redeemed for cash.
GolfMint may change the way GM Points are earned, valued, redeemed or displayed for future activity.
14. Rewards store and redemptions
GolfMint may allow eligible members to redeem GM Points for rewards through the GolfMint rewards store.
Rewards may include gift cards, golf retailer vouchers, supermarket vouchers, hardware store vouchers, electronics vouchers, golf products, GolfMint merchandise, golf balls, drink bottles, Founders Pack items or other rewards.
Rewards are subject to:
- availability;
- member eligibility;
- active membership status;
- sufficient GM Points balance;
- verification checks;
- supplier availability;
- third-party terms;
- redemption limits;
- fraud and abuse checks.
GolfMint may substitute a reward with a reasonably equivalent reward if the original reward is unavailable.
Gift cards and vouchers may be issued by third-party retailers or providers. Third-party gift cards and vouchers are subject to the issuer's own terms, expiry dates, usage limits and redemption conditions.
GolfMint is not responsible for a third-party retailer refusing, delaying, cancelling, changing, limiting or failing to honour a gift card or voucher, except to the extent required by law.
GolfMint may apply redemption limits, including a limit of A$500 in gift card or voucher redemptions per member per calendar month unless GolfMint states otherwise. This limit does not necessarily apply to competition prizes, giveaway prizes or other special rewards unless GolfMint states otherwise.
GolfMint aims to process verified reward redemptions promptly, but processing times may vary depending on verification, supplier availability, payment processing, fraud checks, public holidays, weekends and operational factors.
15. Competition prizes
GolfMint may offer prizes for weekly, monthly or other competitions.
Prize structures may be shown on the website, app or competition materials.
Prizes may be awarded in the form of GM Points, vouchers, gift cards, products, GolfMint merchandise or other rewards.
To receive a prize, a member must:
- have an active GolfMint membership;
- meet all eligibility requirements;
- have the required minimum eligible rounds;
- have a verified result;
- comply with these Terms;
- provide any information reasonably required by GolfMint.
GolfMint may withhold, adjust, split, substitute or cancel a prize where:
- there is a tie;
- the result is disputed;
- the member is not eligible;
- the member's account is inactive, cancelled or suspended;
- the member has breached these Terms;
- a data, scoring, handicap or verification error occurred;
- a supplier issue prevents the original prize from being provided;
- awarding the prize would be unlawful.
GolfMint may split prizes between tied members or apply tie-break rules at its discretion, provided the approach is reasonable and consistent with the relevant competition rules.
16. Monthly member giveaway and promotions
GolfMint may run member giveaways, promotional draws, referral promotions, launch promotions or other campaigns from time to time.
Any giveaway, draw or promotion may be subject to separate promotion terms, including:
- eligibility requirements;
- opening and closing dates;
- draw date;
- prize details;
- how entries are earned;
- winner selection method;
- winner notification method;
- redraw rules;
- state or territory requirements;
- permit details, if required;
- any other legally required information.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the specific promotion terms, the specific promotion terms will apply to that promotion.
Where a promotion is chance-based, GolfMint will conduct it only where it is lawful to do so. Members do not pay an additional amount specifically to place a bet or wager on the outcome of a GolfMint giveaway.
GolfMint may require identity, eligibility and account verification before awarding any giveaway or promotional prize.
17. Referrals
GolfMint may operate a referral program.
Referral codes or links may allow members, creators or partners to refer new members to GolfMint.
Unless stated otherwise:
- referral rewards are only earned after the referred member successfully signs up, pays and becomes an active member;
- referral rewards may be withheld until payment and eligibility are verified;
- self-referrals are not allowed;
- duplicate accounts are not allowed;
- fake accounts are not allowed;
- referral rewards may be reversed if a payment is refunded, charged back, cancelled or found to be fraudulent;
- GolfMint may change referral rewards for future referrals.
GolfMint may offer different referral rewards for standard members, Founders members, creators, affiliates or promotional partners.
GolfMint may refuse, cancel or reverse referral rewards where it reasonably suspects abuse, manipulation, spam, misleading promotion, fake accounts or breach of these Terms.
18. Founders membership and Founders Pack
GolfMint may offer a limited Founders membership.
Founders membership may include benefits such as:
- an annual membership term that renews yearly unless cancelled;
- Founders Pack items;
- additional referral points;
- promotional benefits;
- other inclusions shown at checkout.
Founders Pack items may include GolfMint-branded merchandise such as a towel, bag tag, divot tool, ball marker, box or other items.
Founders Pack inclusions, designs, colours, packaging and availability may vary.
Founders Pack shipping times are estimates only. GolfMint is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, couriers, incorrect delivery information, customs, public holidays or events outside GolfMint's control.
If a Founders Pack item is unavailable, GolfMint may substitute it with a reasonably similar item.
19. App access and updates
GolfMint may require members to use the GolfMint mobile app to access leaderboards, rewards, GM Points, member features or account information.
You are responsible for installing and maintaining the latest available version of the GolfMint app.
GolfMint may release updates to improve security, membership verification, app performance, rewards, login flows or platform functionality.
Older versions of the app may stop working properly or may not support current GolfMint features.
GolfMint may require members to update to the latest app version to continue using the platform.
GolfMint is not responsible for delays caused by Apple App Store, Google Play, device settings, operating system limitations, network issues or app store approval processes.
20. Third-party services
GolfMint may rely on third-party services, including:
- payment processors;
- app stores;
- hosting providers;
- database providers;
- email services;
- analytics providers;
- golf data sources;
- retailers and gift card providers;
- delivery providers;
- software tools.
Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, fees, restrictions and availability.
GolfMint is not responsible for third-party outages, delays, errors, decisions, terms, fees, suspensions, data issues, approval processes or system limitations, except to the extent required by law.
21. Fair play and prohibited conduct

- use another person's golf information;
- create duplicate accounts;
- exploit bugs, loopholes or system errors;
- interfere with leaderboards, databases, app systems or verification systems;
- scrape, copy or misuse GolfMint data;
- harass, abuse, threaten or intimidate GolfMint staff, members or partners;
- use GolfMint for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or harmful purposes;
- misrepresent your relationship with GolfMint;
- promote GolfMint in a misleading, spammy or unlawful way.
If GolfMint reasonably suspects prohibited conduct, GolfMint may:
- investigate the account;
- request further information;
- pause redemptions;
- withhold points, rewards or prizes;
- reverse points, rewards or prizes;
- suspend or cancel the account;
- ban the member from future participation;
- report serious misconduct to relevant third parties or authorities.
22. No gambling or wagering
GolfMint is not a betting, wagering, gambling or sportsbook service.
GolfMint does not accept bets or wagers on golf outcomes.
GolfMint does not allow members to stake money on a golf outcome in the hope of receiving a gambling payout.
GolfMint rewards are based on genuine golf performance, verified handicap improvement, member participation, platform rules and eligible promotions.
Phrases such as "bet on yourself" or similar marketing language refer to backing your own golf improvement, practice and performance. They are not an offer to gamble or wager.
23. Website and app content
GolfMint may display leaderboards, member names, points, competition results, proof posts, reward claims, app screenshots, marketing content and other platform content.
GolfMint may use reasonable shortened or partial member display names, such as first name and last initial, to show leaderboards, winner announcements, proof posts or platform activity.
By using GolfMint, you agree that GolfMint may display your name, leaderboard position, points, results, reward claims or winner status for platform, operational, trust, verification and marketing purposes, unless prohibited by law or unless GolfMint agrees otherwise.
GolfMint will not intentionally publish sensitive private information such as payment details, full Golf ID/GolfLink numbers, full date of birth, home address or full identity documents in public marketing materials.
24. Intellectual property
GolfMint owns or licenses the GolfMint brand, logo, website, app, software, platform design, copy, graphics, systems, reward structures, competition formats, content and related intellectual property.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, exploit, reverse engineer, scrape, clone or misuse GolfMint's intellectual property without written permission.
You may use GolfMint's name, referral links or approved promotional materials only in a truthful and lawful way, and only to promote GolfMint honestly.
GolfMint may ask you to remove or edit any content that misuses the GolfMint brand, misleads customers or breaches these Terms.
25. Privacy

If an error results in points, rewards, prizes or benefits being incorrectly awarded, GolfMint may reverse or adjust them, provided it acts reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
28. Suspension and termination
GolfMint may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- breach these Terms;
- fail to pay membership fees;
